A Rest Stop
A Rest Stop was technically the last piece done in my portfolio but in terms of the “journey” aspect, it is the fifth. This one harbors generally the same feelings and emotions as A Detour because I had another moment in my life with a small bump that I had to get over. This was the first really architectural piece that I have done and I am happy with the results. Whenever I look at this piece I feel both pride from finishing such a piece and also some sadness because I am done with the monotone markers. This basically marks the end of my “journey” with this portfolio.
